Sogo Beans & Boards is a coffee shop in Golden, Colorado, at 16185 S Golden Rd, Golden, CO 80401. We are just minutes from downtown Golden and Colorado School of Mines, with free parking out front and on the street.

Sogo is open every day until 1 PM: Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 1 PM, and Saturday and Sunday from 8 AM to 1 PM. Evening hours and a homemade garden tap bar are coming soon.

Yes. Sogo offers free guest Wi-Fi, so it is an easy place to sit down with a coffee and work, study, or catch up online.

Yes. Sogo is a cozy, plant-filled cafe with comfy indoor seating, power outlets, free Wi-Fi, and a garden patio. It is a relaxed spot to work, study, or meet up, and it is popular with Colorado School of Mines students just up the road.

Yes. Sogo offers oat milk and almond milk, as well as skim and 2% dairy milk, so you can make any drink your way.

Yes. Sogo bakes homemade breads and pastries in-house daily and serves a kitchen menu including breakfast bagels, breakfast burritos, and fresh-baked treats to go with your coffee.

Sogo is known for original specialty drinks you cannot find anywhere else, made with handmade syrups, premium roasted beans, and fresh 9-stage filtered water. Signature drinks include the Cookie Dough Latte, Toasted Marshmallow Latte, and Banana Pudding Latte.

Yes. Dogs are welcome on Sogo’s back garden patio, which has plenty of seating and a fish pond. We even have a "For the Pup" menu just for them.

Yes, and plenty of it. Sogo has free parking in the lot out front, free parking in the lot next door, and free street parking, across three lots with lots of spaces. Parking is not something you need to plan around at our Golden location.

Sogo is about 2.5 miles from Colorado School of Mines, roughly a 9 minute drive or a 30 minute walk. There is also a bus stop directly in front of the shop, so you can get here from campus without a car.

Start with the Banana Pudding Latte, the drink we hand first-timers most often. After that, the Pistachio-Coconut Latte. Any of Sogo’s signature drinks can be made as espresso or matcha, and hot or iced, so you can have the flavor the way you like it.

Yes. Sogo serves gluten-free items including the Double Down Hashstack breakfast and raspberry lemon bread, and we rotate new gluten-free recipes through the kitchen regularly.

Yes. Every flavor syrup at Sogo is vegan, our bagels are vegan, and we keep vegan butter behind the counter. For milk we pour oat and almond alongside dairy, so most drinks on the menu can be made fully vegan.

Yes. Sogo Beans & Boards is a coffee shop and a skate shop in one. We sell complete boards and decks plus the parts to build and fix them, including bearings, wheels, griptape, trucks, and bolts.

Yes. Sogo sells four bags of whole coffee beans to take home: light roast, medium roast, dark roast, and espresso.

Very. Sogo has a large kids drink menu, and the back garden patio has a fish pond and toys for children. The patio is dog-friendly too, so the whole family can come along.

Sogo accepts every form of payment, including cash, all major credit and debit cards, Apple Pay, and Google Pay.

Neither, for now. Sogo does not have an order-ahead app or an online ordering system, and there is no drive-through. Orders are placed in person at the counter in the shop.
