Our most popular single-origin coffee, this blend has been continuously sourced from cooperatively grown farms. The CITY OF THORNS CAFE is Shade-Grown Organic, Fair Trade Certified, and comes exclusively from 100% women-owned farms.

This special coffee comes from the northern highlands of Peru a region that lacks modern infrastructure—many villages are without paved roads, electricity, or telecommunication systems. Despite the challenges, the local farmers work tirelessly with deep cooperation and commitment.

The farmers are descendants of traditional Inca Indian culture, proud of their heritage and committed to passing it on to future generations. This area, hosted the first 'Organic Coffee Festival' and crowned the 'Queen of Café Organico.' Thanks to their dedication to improving coffee quality, the community is also seeing improvements in their standard of living. The growers’ group has grown to nearly 300 certified organic farms.
